In english-languaged Gamasutra portal another interview devoted to Empire: Total War has been published. One of Creative Assembly workers – Mark Sutherns was answering journalists’ questions. There is however some difference between this interview and the ones we already know. Instead of fetures of the upcoming game programist speaks about technological side of the whole project and some kind of creators’ philosophy.

The most important info of the interview is:

• There is going to be different engines responsible for land and sea battles.
• Creators want to exceed 10 tys. soldiers in the field limit.
• Creators are forced to find a way between historical accuracy and gameplay, making commanding understandable for laics.
• There’s a team of creators interested in history responsible for historical research.
• Another series of Decisive Battles TV show is being planned, this time based on Empire engine.
• Creators want to drag new fans to the game and quit the ‘hardcore strategy’ stereotype.
